	The Manings' house sits on the shore of the Edgartown Great Pond looking across a cove where one often sees Swans, a variety of Ducks, and resident Osprey. The house itself is a custom designed Post & Beam. As you can see by the design of this house, there is a great degree of flexibility within the system. The interior spaces are soaring with exposed wood throughout. The warmth of wood and the durability make Post & Beams particularly popular in the vacation home market, although we have done many year round Post & Beams as well.

	A number of different siding and glazing options are available from the more traditional 6/6 double hung with cedar shingles to the more contemporary Anderson windows with horizontal cedar siding. All of the materials offered weather well in the sea air.
