This 800 square foot guest house has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and a kitchen
and living room, all of which feel light and open. Using ample numbers
of Marvin windows, looking out onto the open fields and wooded areas surrounding
this building, helps contribute to the feeling of spaciousness in this
compact house.
With the exterior finished mostly in Cedar with very little stain, the
house quickly took on a weathered and unimposing appearance in this bucolic
setting. The guest house was the first of three structures to be built
on this site. A barn has been constructed and the main house is currently
being designed and will be built in the near future. |
