| This
site furnished a rare opportunity to take a plain home from the late 60s
loaded with dark wood paneling and remodel it into a dynamic house with
inescapable views of a small pond loaded with bird life , a barrier beach,
and a view of Chappaquiddick as it arches out from Edgartown and Cow Bay.
The expansive panes of glass open the house up to the extent that you
are unaware of the truly modest scale of the interior. The Owner’s
architectural preference worked perfectly with the requisite glass and
bright interior to provide a very simplistic solution which is both dramatic
and soothing. |
